I'm Aaron Armstrong, a brand strategist and creative director. Serif + Gold is a studio of one. For twenty years I've built brands across CPG, craft beverage, packaging, real estate, and strategy. Fifteen of those were agency-side, learning the craft on other people's work. Since then I've worked closer in, embedded with the businesses I build for, where you see what a brand actually has to survive: the budget, the rollout, the second-guessing, the decade after launch. I do the thinking and the making, start to finish. That is where you learn what holds up.

I led the brand and marketing for Camp Beer Co., in the room with the owners six months before the doors opened, and stayed on it for years after. I've modernized brands carrying decades of equity and built new ones from a blank page. The throughline is not a style. It is judgment about what a brand needs to last.
