Deliverables vary by scope, but a standard branding engagement typically includes your logo suite in all required formats (vector, raster, web, and print-ready), a brand guidelines document covering typography, colour, tone of voice, and visual usage rules, and any collateral agreed upon in the scope, such as business cards, social templates, or a one-pager.
For packaging projects, deliverables include production-ready packaging files (typically in Adobe Illustrator or InDesign), dieline templates, mockups for sales and marketing use, and a packaging guidelines document. Everything is set up so you or your printer can use the files without needing to come back for reformatting.
Serif + Gold provides print-ready files and can liaise directly with your printer or packaging supplier to ensure colour accuracy, substrate compatibility, and production quality. While the studio does not manage print runs or purchasing, it provides production support including preflight checks, press proofs review, and technical specifications.
This is especially important in CPG packaging, where a colour shift between screen and printed label can undermine months of design work. Having a designer who understands production ensures the final product matches the approved design.
Yes. Art direction for product photography is part of the studio's service offering. This includes developing shot lists, styling direction, mood boards, and on-set creative direction to ensure the photography aligns with the brand's visual identity and positioning.
Serif + Gold works with trusted photographers and production partners across the Lower Mainland and can recommend the right team for your project, whether that is a studio product shoot, lifestyle photography, or a location-based campaign.
The studio primarily works in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for production design, Figma or Sketch for UI/UX and digital design, and various strategy and project management tools for collaboration. Packaging files are typically delivered in Adobe Illustrator format, which is the industry standard for print production.
